Winch (Tow) Endorsement Course

This one day conversion course is for people that already have a CP (hill) rating and have more than ten hours airtime. It will consist of a minimum of ten high flights on the winch (anything between 500 & 2000ft).

You will need to have all your own equipment (preferably a DHV1 or DHV1/2 glider)*, but it must be certified for towing.

We will supply a tow yoke and radio for you to use if you don't have your own.

This will give you a BHPA Winch Endorsement that will allow you to fly with any Tow Club.

*If you fly a high performance wing and would rather not use it for training, we will loan you a DHV1 glider at no extra cost.
