We have always offered special 'package' deals and the best possible prices to our students, but for the duration of 2010 (in an attempt to beat the recession), we are offering the following amazing deal.*

For only £2,995.00 we will supply you with a brand new glider, harness, reserve parachute, helmet and give you 'up to' six days of tuition (you may qualify in less than six days) to get you qualified to Club Pilot (tow) level.**

    * Independence Cruiser 2 or Nova Prion paraglider £1890.00
    * Independence Fusion or Gin Basis Harness £450.00
    * Independence Evo 24 Reserve £600.00
    * Lazer B-Cool Helmet (in white) £55.00
    * ParAvion Tuition Fees FREE

The normal price for this package would be a total £3,995.00 - you will SAVE £1,000.00 (the price of our EP & CP course when bought together).

There are just three conditions:

1.  You must book in regularly enough to complete your six days' training within six months from the date of purchasing your equipment.  Any days required beyond six months (or in addition to the normal six days) will be charged for at the reduced rate of £100.00 per day (normally £170.00).

2.  You will be taught on your own equipment, not ParAvion's.

3. No refunds will be made if you decide to stop training.  This is because we are selling you the equipment and then teaching you for FREE.

If you would like different equipment to that listed; this can easily be arranged.  You tell us what you want; we will supply it to you at full retail price. You will then save £1,000.00 (the price of our EP & CP course when bought together) by not paying for your training. However, your new 'equipment package' must consist of a paraglider, a harness, Independence Evo 24 reserve parachute and helmet (must all be new).

An added bonus is that by having your own trustworthy and known equipment, you will also be free to fly with any another school; either at home or abroad. Although at ParAvion we will teach you to the BHPA training syllabus, there is nothing to stop you from taking extra training elsewhere if you want to. We won't be offended, but you will find variations in teaching methods and opinions.

One of the main reasons for us offering this brilliant deal is that after our many years of experience; we have found that the people who buy their equipment early in their training are the ones that will become truly dedicated and will put in the necessary effort that is required to learn paragliding.

* This offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice.

** To gain a Club Pilot (hill) rating, a further day or so of training will be necessary. This will be charged for at the reduced rate of £100.00 per day (normally £170.00).

The trouble with weather forecasting is that it's right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it.

Wow, I’m amazed at just how many people are taking us up on this package so far this year; it would seem this is the sort of deal everyone’s been looking for.   Let’s hope the weather improves soon so that we can get started eh?  Cool

I’ve had several people ask if it’s possible to upgrade to this deal from the courses you have purchased already, so I thought I would post it here so everyone knew.

Providing you paid for your training after April 2009, then a simple upgrade by paying the difference will suffice.  However, if you paid for your training before April 2009 then you will need to talk to us first – either give the office a call or pop in and have a chat about it over a coffee.  Biggrin

OK, last chance everyone.  A lot more of you have taken us up on this upgrade option than I expected and I'm afraid I must draw the line somewhere.  ohmy

As a couple of you are a little indecisive I'll hold the offer open for another two weeks (until Friday the 14th of May 2010), so if you want to upgrade you'll have to be quick.  Once this date has passed you will have to continue with the path to CP that you've already chosen.

Don't panic - we're still doing the special deal, but just not allowing any more upgrades.

As you've not even started yet, if you'd like to do the CP Package just give me a call and I'll make the necessary arrangements.  Cool
