Trevor McLoughlin - Chief Flying Instructor

Trevor is the owner of ParAvion and has been flying since 1985. He started flying Hang Gliders then
changed to fixed wing gliders in '88. He started flying Paragliders in '93. He also has a PPL and flies light
aircraft.

Before he started teaching paragliding he taught Wado Ryu Karate for ten years and ran two of his own
schools. His previous occupation was an Electronics Engineer (TV, Video & Computers).

Trevor is also Head of the BHPA's FSC (Flying & Safety Committee) Instructor & Coach Training Panel.

Justin McLoughlin - Manager

Justin is our Manager. He takes care of everything, but most importantly he keeps Trevor on his toes.

Justin used to help Trevor run his Karate schools, so his management skills aren't to be argued with.

Previously, he ran a hospital department for ten years, but got fed up with the appalling way the NHS
is run and decided to join us instead.

As well as being our Manager, he is our winch operator on flying days.

Jim Cochrane - Senior Instructor

Jim has been around paragliding since the beginning. An ex-parachutist, he was the CFI of what used to
be known as Capital Paragliding based at North Weald airfield in Essex. It was Jim that got Trevor into
flying paragliders back in '93.

Jim shares his time between London, France and with us here in Wiltshire. He tries to spend most of his
time at his house in the Pyrenees (the weather is much better), but he loves to teach as much as he can.

Jim is also a BHPA Instructor Examiner.

Sheena Findlay - Trainee Instructor

Sheena works full-time flying around the planet for British Airways, but she tries to put in as much time
as she can with us here at the school.

Sheena has been flying paragliders since 1998 and would love to spend much more time teaching with
us, but Trevor can't compete with her BA salary.

  Simon Payne - Trainee Instructor

Simon runs his own very successful company, but as his employees can often work without him, he
likes to come and work with us as much as possible.

A keen paramotor pilot, he can regularly be spotted buzzing around his home town of Thame.

Simon also has a PPL and flies light aircraft.

He is an ex-ParAvion student.

Gill Cook - Telephone & Sales

Gill helps us run our shop and office. She can nearly always be found in the shop on Wednesdays
and Saturdays and on any other days that the rest of us are all out flying.

Gill has her own microlight aircraft that she flies on a regular basis and has been doing so for many
years.  She chooses not to fly paragliders because they don't have an engine.
